Cancellation Policy
Terms and Conditions for E-Bike Rental – Johs H Giæver AS By booking an e-bike rental through our website or in person, you agree to the following terms: 1. Rental Provider • Lessor: Johs H Giæver AS • Organisation No.: 940 315 468 • Address: Mor Lyngs Plass 1, 9159 Havnnes • Contact: office@giaever.net | +47 913 88 790 2. Booking and Duration • Rentals can be booked online or in person. • Rental period starts at the agreed time and ends when the bike is returned. • If the bike is returned more than 2 hours late, you will be charged for an additional 4 hours. More than 4 hours late results in a full extra day charge. • You may cancel or reschedule your booking online. • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental start time will be charged 50% of the rental price. 3. Rental Fees • Yamaha MORO-07 (Size M) • Per hour: NOK 200 • 4 hours: NOK 500 • Per day: NOK 1,000 • Payment is due in advance. 4. Liability and Safety • Renting and using the e-bike is at your own risk. • Helmets are mandatory and included. • You are personally responsible for following Norwegian traffic laws and cycling with caution. • Johs H Giæver AS is not liable for any personal injury, accidents, or damages during the rental period. • In case of damage, loss, or theft due to misuse or negligence, you will be charged for repair or replacement costs. • You are responsible for any third-party damage via your own insurance. 5. Handover and Return • The bike will be inspected with you before and after the rental. • A brief introduction will be given before departure. • If the bike is returned excessively dirty, a cleaning fee of NOK 150 may apply. 6. Insurance • We recommend having valid travel insurance. Our bikes are not insured against theft or accidental damage during your use. 7.
