New Underwater Lights at the Floating Dock and Shore Power at the Quay

At Havnnes Trading Post, we are continuously working to make the harbour more inviting and practical for both visitors and locals. This summer, we’ve added two exciting upgrades that we’re proud to share:

Underwater Lights at the Floating Dock

Our floating dock is now fitted with brand-new underwater lights that create a truly special atmosphere after dark. The lights add both safety and ambience – whether you’re arriving by boat in the evening or simply enjoying the magical glow as it reflects on the water.

And perhaps the most magical part: once darkness falls, the lights attract large schools of fish beneath the quay. Guests can now experience the rich life of the fjord up close – almost like having a natural aquarium right at the harbour.

Shore Power at the Qua

We have also installed new shore power outlets along the quay. This makes it easier for visiting boats to connect to electricity, offering more convenience and supporting environmentally friendly operations by reducing the need to run engines while docked.

A Blend of Practicality and Experience

With both underwater lighting and shore power in place, we want to make every visit to Havnnes more comfortable and memorable – whether you arrive by sea or by land.
